Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 July 2026 · English translation provided for convenience — the French version prevails

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Discord bot Patron and its web management panel (together, the “Service”). The Service is a management tool for roleplay communities (GTA RP / FiveM): staff management, hiring, jobs, the company till, tickets, time off, discipline and activity logs.

By adding Patron to a Discord server or signing in to the panel, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Access to the service

The core of the Service is available free of charge to anyone with a Discord account. Adding the bot to a server requires the appropriate Discord permissions on that server (usually the “Manage Server” permission). Certain convenience features belong to an optional paid plan, described in section 4.

The publisher of the Service reserves the right to change, add or remove features without notice. Substantial changes to these Terms will be signalled by updating the date shown at the top of this document.

3. Discord account required

Using the Service requires a valid Discord account, governed by the terms of service of Discord Inc. You are solely responsible for the security of your Discord account and for the actions carried out with it on the Service.

Signing in to the web panel is done through Discord's official authentication system (OAuth2). The Service never has access to your Discord password.

Patron is not affiliated with Discord Inc., and is neither endorsed nor sponsored by Discord Inc.

4. Premium and Unlimited subscriptions

The Service offers an optional paid plan that adds convenience features. The subscription is attached to your Discord account — not to a server: once subscribed, you choose from the web panel which server or servers to activate it on, within the limits of your plan.

Plans. Two plans are available: “ Premium ”, usable on up to 3 servers, and “ Unlimited ”, usable on an unlimited number of servers.

Pricing. The prices shown on the site — Premium: €4.99 per month or €49.99 per year; Unlimited: €9.99 per month or €99.99 per year — are indicative and subject to revision. The price that applies is the one displayed at the time of subscription. Any price change is announced in advance and only takes effect from the following subscription period.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider, and are subject to its own terms. The publisher stores no banking data (see the Privacy Policy).

Term and renewal. The subscription runs for one month or one year, depending on the plan chosen. It renews automatically at each due date for an identical term until it is cancelled.

Cancellation. You can cancel the subscription at any time from the panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: Premium features stay active until that date, and no further amount is charged afterwards.

Refunds. Unless the law requires otherwise, periods already started are not refunded pro rata. Under consumer law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription, provided the service has not been used (the subscription has not been activated on a server).

Activation codes. Premium features can also be activated on a server using a code supplied by the publisher. Codes are tied to the server they are used on and may not be transferred or resold.

5. Acceptable use

You undertake to use the Service in compliance with the law, with Discord's terms of service and with your server's own rules. In particular, you may not:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or circumvent the operation of the Service (command spam, exploiting vulnerabilities, unauthorised access);
  • use the Service to harass, threaten or harm other people;
  • upload unlawful content through the Service, in particular in tickets or job proofs;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without written authorisation.

A roleplay context is no exception to these rules: content exchanged through the Service remains subject to applicable law, even when it is fictional.

In the event of a breach, access to the Service may be suspended or terminated as set out in section 9.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee of availability, continuity or freedom from errors. Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance, updates, or because of failures in third-party services (the host, the Discord API).

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from the use or unavailability of the Service, including the loss of in-game data (till balances, histories, configurations). The Service is a leisure tool: it is not intended to manage real assets or real money.

7. Data

Operating the Service involves collecting and processing certain data relating to your Discord account and your server's activity (identifiers, usernames, ticket contents, job submissions, configuration).

How that processing works (the nature of the data, the purposes, the retention periods and individuals' rights) is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Each server remains responsible for the content its members submit through the Service (ticket messages, job proofs, applications). Server administrators are responsible for how they use the management and moderation tools made available to them.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its name, its logo, its interface, its code and its documentation are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of their publisher. These Terms grant you no ownership rights over the Service, only a personal, non-exclusive and revocable right of use.

The content you submit through the Service (text, proof images, configurations) remains yours. You grant the publisher a limited licence for the sole purpose of operating the Service (storage, display in the panel, transcript generation).

“Discord” and related trademarks are the property of Discord Inc.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server. Removing the bot stops data collection for that server; data already recorded is retained and then deleted under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy.

The publisher may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for a user or a server, in the event of a breach of these Terms, abusive use, or a legal obligation. Except in urgent cases, this decision is notified through the support Discord server.

The publisher may also discontinue the Service as a whole, giving reasonable advance notice through the support server.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal provisions applicable to consumers.

If any clause of these Terms is held void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain in full force.

11. Contact

For any question about these Terms or the Service, you can contact the team through the support Discord server, linked in the site footer.
